Love Hemp Vs Cannaray CBD

Love Hemp CBD and Cannaray CBD

Love Hemp Vs Cannaray, the battle of the titans is on! In the CBD world both of these are well known household names that have motored out in front of the crowd. You can find them both on the shelves of well known supermarkets like Tesco and wellness stores across the country like Holland and Barrett (and of course little old Associated CBD). The race is well and truly on as they have been splattered across the headlines of papers and business pages, noting their recent successes. But now the question remains, who are they, who is best, and which one should you buy?

Love Hemp

Well Love Hemp have a range of CBD products ranging from CBD gummies/edibles, CBD oil and CBD capsules. We would consider these to be the usual suspects that a CBD brand might have in their range. So why does that make them different? Why does that make them better than anyone else? Well Anthony Joshua definitely seems to think so after recently signing a brand ambassador deal with them, so let's take a look!

Love Hemp CBD oil

This is most likely considered to be the jewel in their crown. The range is vast and includes many strengths and many flavours. They start low (perhaps lower than other brands) at 1% or 100mg, in either a tincture or a spray, going all the way up to 10,000mg CBD oil drops, which would most likely be considered super strong in anyone's book. Flavours include Valencia Orange, Peppermint, Natural and Wild Cherry, which should be enough to suit most people. Although I should add that not every strength comes in all flavours. When you drop them under the tongue, you can immediately tell that that the oil is silky smooth and oozes quality. Whether you decide to opt for an oil or a spray, a Love Hemp CBD oil is an oil that you would be happy to take everyday. This has been echoed by others as Love Hemp CBD oil has recently been shortlisted in the 2022 Wellbeing Awards.

Love Hemp CBD Capsules

If you like reliable dosing and vegan products then Love Hemp CBD Capsules may well be the winner for you. They come in a pot of 60 capsules and in strengths of 300mg, 600mg and 1200mg, so depending on what strength you opt for, you should get between a 1 and 2 month's supply out of each pot. For those of you that don't like the taste or texture of the oils then this could be a great alternative. You can also chuck a pot in your back to enjoy on the go without the risk of any unplanned leakages! Each item from Love Hemp is independently lab tested to ensure purity, quality and safety with 0% THC guaranteed. Another fine display that Love Hemp deliver the finest quality CBD products.

So that's Love Hemp CBD oil and Love Hemp CBD capsules covered... What else do they have in the range?

Love Hemp CBD Gummies

Well we all love a gummy and that's one of the reason we love Love Hemp. Love Hemp CBD gummies (Or Love Hemp CBD Jelly Domes, as they call them) are everything that you would want and expect from a high quality gummy. 600mg in a jar, split between 30 lovely 20mg CBD gummies, Vegan, 0%THC, varied flavours, and premium CBD extract, I'll take some! As i'm typing this I've noticed that the Love Hemp website is actually out of stock! Luckily for you, we have plenty right here, so no there's no need to wait. They also come in a 50mg/10 piece grab bag which can be perfect if you're nervous about diving head first on your first time trying them!

Whilst we're on the topic of edibles, if gummies/jellies aren't you're thing, then be sure to check out their award nominated CBD chocolate balls. They only come in a small 50mg bag so they don't quite command their own section, however, 64% velvety smooth dark chocolate always deserves a mention, right?

Love Hemp CBD Body Salve

CBD in skincare is becoming big business so there's no surprise that Love Hemp are keen to include a body salve in their product range, and is usual Love Hemp style it's been nominated for:

  • Editors Choice – Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2022
  • Best CBD Balm - Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2021
  • Best CBD Balm - Cannavist Awards 2021

Where do I sign? I hear you say!

Well with 300mg of CBD and a superb blend of natural organic essential oils, your dry or irritated skin will feel nourished and replenished.. And as expected this body salve is also lab tested to guarantee quality, safety and 0% THC.

So that's the main, albeit slightly brief, overview of the Love Hemp range. I'm sure we'll cover more of their products in greater detail at some point, but for now let's take a look at the comparisons to Cannaray!

Before you move on to check out Cannaray CBD, we urge you to check out our other blog which will help you save £££s on Love Hemp CBD products, and we are also throwing in a further discount for you!

Cannaray CBD

Their bright yellow packaging glistens on the shelves of Waitrose and the screens of your TV. Another multi award winning brand, backed by a famous celeb, Claudia Winkleman, we can already see many similarities between Love Hemp and Cannaray.

So let's find out some more shall we, and just like the Love Hemp range, Let's take a look at what the Cannaray CBD range has to offer.

Cannaray CBD Gummies

Cannaray CBD Oil

Well straight away we notice a difference in the oils. Cannaray doesn't offer quite the same selection, with only 2 choice of strength being 500mg and 1500mg for the Citrus flavour, and 600mg and 1800mg for the peppermint.. Hardly the multiple flavours and strengths the oil range of Love Hemp has to offer. However, it's not all bad news as they cleverly divide the two into Bright Days CBD oil (which is the citrus) and night-time CBD oil (peppermint). CBD can be quite a confusing maket, particularly if its all new to you, so this differentiation can be quite useful when making a purchase. Having said that, the size of the bottles of the is also different, being either 10ml or 30ml, so this will naturally reflect the strength of the bottle accordingly. Come on Cannaray, let's make things simpler!

Cannaray CBD Gummies

Ok, so here Cannaray Gummies take a more simplistic approach. Designed to be easy to take on the go, and coming in a 300mg or 900mg strength. Vegan friendly, THC free and triple lab tested. All sounding good so far.

Sadly they only come in the one flavour which is a shame because they actually taste pretty good, and in the CBD world we're used to variety by now, but tasty nonetheless. However if we keep the title of the blog in mind, we have to consider the variety which unfortunately lets Cannaray down somewhat in comparison to Love Hemp. Let's not be too hard on the bright yellow chaps though, I'd still be happy if someone accidentally left a jar on my desk. The gummies really do taste good, but have a slightly more chewy texture than the more melt in your mouth style Jelly Domes Love Hemp have to offer.

Cannaray CBD Capsules

No interestingly enough, these Cannaray CBD capsules actually step up their game a bit. They come in 2 sizes, 200mg or 600mg which contain 20 capsules or 60 capsules respectively, but they have a hidden ace up their sleeves. Cannaray have decided to include Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Zinc and elderflower which naturally beefs up the benefits of Cannaray CBD capsules, particularly as we head into Winter. Once again Cannaray is vegan friendly with this product and triple lab tested so I think this would count as a win over the Love Hemp CBD capsules.

Cannaray CBD Muscle Balm

The Cannaray CBD Muscle Balm isn't quite the same as the Love Hemp CBD Body Salve but it's the best we've got for a like for like product when it comes to skincare. Featuring 250mg of Cannaray CBD, and a soothing blend of Aloe, Arnica, Shea Butter, Eucalyptus, Limonene and Linalool, this sure is a nice product. Here at Associated CBD, we're familiar with the feeling of sore muscles so this was a good one to try. Being pleased with the results, this is another product from Cannaray in which I wouldn't be unhappy if I somebody accidentally left it on my desk. This is probably the one Cannaray product that isn't vegan (neither is Love Hemp's CBD body salve), but it is vegetarian, so 5 points to Cannaray for trying.

Cannaray CBD Gummies

Summary

So in summary, we've got two great brands here and it's no surprise that both are making waves in the press and on our supermarket shelves. It might seem like I've been slightly overcritical at times, however there's a lot at stake between the two and finding any differences between such great brands isn't easy when they ultimately both have great products. They are both setting a super example in the CBD space, and hopefully other brands will aim to follow suit with same high standards.

Personally I think Love Hemp CBD products slightly have the edge, purely based on the extra variety available. And that's no surprise really for someone so attached to Associated CBD who works so hard to give best in class variety and product range! But if you're the kind of person that loves the bright yellow feel good feeling, then I'm sure you won't be disappointed with Cannaray CBD.

FAQs

What CBD oils are best for anxiety?

This is a question which will depend very much on the user. We find just as many of our customers opting for a cbd isolate based oil as we do for those looking at full spectrum or even broad spectrum oils. It is very much a question that is best tested by each person to find which CBD oils work best for them. The common advantage to CBD full spectrum oils are in regards to the well known combination of CBD with other cannabinoids called the entourage effect. The combination of other cannabinoids with CBD are said to interact with one another to have a more profound impact. However on the flip side, we find many customers who want the purest form of CBD with no further cannabinoids and for these users a CBD isolate remains their best bet.

How much CBD oil should I take?

So this brings us full circle to the heading of the blog post. Well to be honest, ultimately it depends. If you are a new user, we would typically suggest trying a CBD isolate oil and going for a small dosage in the region of 10mgs. You can then build this up over the following days and weeks to test your tolerance and see how your body reacts up to a limit of 70mg. We always remind people that you can dose far higher than this, and there are studies that have supported its safety profile as high as 1500mg per day, but we would certainly not suggest anyone to do that!

I’ve taken CBD in small doses before but now I want to try CBD for anxiety, so what do you suggest?

For a more seasoned CBD user, we might suggest trying a broad spectrum of full spectrum CBD oil but would still look to start small with a dosage in the 10-25mg category. This allows any user to build up overtime and to really test how the CBD interacts with your body and if it really helps with your sleeping patterns.

Can I take CBD everyday?

Yes, you can take CBD everyday and in fact building up CBD in your system overtime can give some of the greatest benefits as opposed to one-off dosages. At Associated CBD we rarely go a day without CBD for many years and are fighting fit :)

Which CBD oil is best?

We like to think variety is an important factor, and that is one reason at Associated CBD we try to hold a wide variety of CBD strengths, types and products! There is no best CBD out there, it is about what works best for you and your body.

Are there studies that can support CBD helping with anxiety?

Yes, there are plenty of studies that support CBD having effects on anxiety and many of our customers have left positive reviews for how it has supported them in this way. Some of our  blogs look in more detail at these studies.

How much CBD oil should I take?

Well to be honest, ultimately it depends. If you are a new user, we would typically suggest trying a CBD isolate oil and going for a small dosage in the region of 10mgs. You can then build this up over the following days to test your tolerance and see how your body reacts up to a limit of 70mg per day.

Is CBD oil safe?

Yes, it is perfectly safe and legal to consume and all our products have a legal limit of THC below 0.2% and lab reports are available for all our CBD products. All our CBD products are sold with a Novel food application number if required.

Will CBD get me high?

No, CBD will not get you high as CBD is not the psychoactive element of Cannabis Sativa group of plants that gives the “high”, known as THC. The THC element and all our CBD products for pain relief contain less than 0.2% THC as legally permitted in the UK.

Can I take CBD on holiday?

The answer to this question is always - do your research first! Whilst our CBD products are legal and safe to use in the UK, in other countries there are specific laws that need to be followed. We have a blog that covers some of this but please be sure to check the local laws at your destination on their governing website. The rules and regulations are changing all the time, so be safe!

CBD interacts with the ECS

Every human being has an ECS and some researchers believe that CBD interacts with a core component of the endocannabinoid receptors in your brain and immune system. These receptors (CB1 and CB2 receptors) are tiny proteins attached to your cells. They receive chemical signals from different stimuli and help your cells respond. This response creates anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects that may help with many of the renowned benefits we hear about CBD.
